Where and when did you train to become a photographer and how has your work developed?

I got my first camera when I turned nine. It was one of those plastic things with a funny “clonk” sound. I was introduced to a darkroom at the age of 14 and by then I was pretty much hooked. I studied art and photography at college in Sweden and then photography at university in Leeds.

After my studies I moved to London and started my own photographic projects, worked in a few studios and trained with various photographers. I’ve shot a lot of commercial work over the years in many different areas. Using the medium to capture independent artistic work is what interests me the most. I have always had an interest in the human form and movement so dance photography is something that I enjoy immensely.
