MALTA DANCE THEATRE – We are BGB dance!

This is a sister company to the school`s youth ballet company – Degas Ballet. Unlike Degas Ballet, whose performances are all based on Classical Ballets, MALTA DANCE THEATRE performances /choreographies are based on Neo classical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Commercial Jazz.

Ms Brigitte Gauci Borda Artistic director, Lynne Salomone Reynaud director and Sue Vassallo assistant choreographer, will re launch this company under a new name MALTA DANCE THEATRE - We are BGB dance!  with two performances at MITP Theatre in Valletta on Saturday 7th September and Sunday 8th September 2013.

The members are an exciting, strong group of dancers aged between 16 and 29 years. They have all undertaken extensive training in Jazz and Classical Ballet and some of them have been awarded their Advanced II Ballet certificate of the famous Cecchetti Method. Their strong classical background makes them very versatile dancers, performing in various styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary etc…

The aim of MALTA DANCE THEATRE is to give talented dancers valubale experience and exposure, pursuing their interest in dance whilst developing their technical and performance skills.

Versitile, Innovative, Vibrant, Expressive!
