JAZZ and HIP HOP SUMMER FUN !
The Brigitte Gauci Borda school of ballet will be holding Jazz and Hip Hop courses for Teens, Advanced and Adult Beginners. All courses commence next Tuesday 26th July till the 15 September with a short break during Santa Marija week.
Kristina Schranz will be conducting the Teens and Advanced classes in Jazz and Hip Hop styles, on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoon / evening; students can opt to attend once or twice a week, choosing either Jazz, Hip Hop or both, whilst Grazielle Camilleri will be teaching the Funky Jazz classes for Adult Beginners which will be held every Tuesday evening.
Also starting next week are open ballet classes for Advanced and Intermediate students, which will include pointe work, pas de deux and repertoire. These classes will be conducted by guest teacher Svetlana Sivak from Ukraine. Lynne Salomone Reynaud will be giving open ballet lessons for Adult Beginners whilst Claudia Preca will be teaching ballet at Intermediate level. Anne Marie Busuttil will be responsible for the Spanish classes for children and adults which will be held every Tuesday evening.
Kristina, Grazielle, Lynne, Claudia and Anne Marie are all resident teachers at the Brigitte Gauci Borda school of ballet. Kristina was recently choreographer for FAME which was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre last February with over 200 jazz dancers from the Brigitte Gauci Borda school of ballet, whilst Grazielle and Lynne were two of the main dancers who danced in this huge production.
The school is fully equipped with spacious air conditioned studios and all courses are open to students from other dance schools.
