SUMMER SCHOOL WITH A DIFFERENCE
Hip Hop, Drama, Jazz, Ballet, Spanish Dance, Latin, Singing, Russian Character Dance, Movement (using Laban techeniques), Art and Craft are the subjects which are going to be held at Brigitte Gauci Borda`s dance and creativity course, this summer. This course, which is being held at Brigitte Gauci Borda school of Ballet in Old college street Sliema is the 11th international summer course involving foreign professional teachers. This summer`s excellent team of teachers are, Irene Christ, Fiona Hornstein, Lynne Salomone Reynaud, Kristina Schranz, Svetlana Sivak, Emma Waterhouse, Elaine Zerafa and Ira Losco as a special guest.
The summer school will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm, students can opt to attend twice or three times a week. Those attending three times a week will be covering all the disciplines mentioned above. The course will cater for students aged 5 to 17 years and students will be grouped according to age. Each student will be given a certificate of attendance at the end of the course, which will culminate with a performance for all the parents. The school, which is built to international specifications and standards, boasts of three lavishly spacious air-conditioned studios, providing a stimulating creative environment with the finest facilities on the island. The course will commence on Tuesday 12th July and will run for five weeks up until mid August.
